Celebrate your love for US combat veterans at the PX3 Foundation and Danny Dietz Memorial Fund All-Star Weekend event August 19-20th. The PX3 Patriots are bringing the food, fun, and softball to the Sky Sox Stadium to host a celebrity team of combat veterans who will bring a game you won’t likely forget. This is a fun way to get involved in ways that work – the event will directly help the ‘Support a Warrior’ campaign by the PX3 Foundation.

For a little context, the PX3 foundation exists to help combat veterans with real, science backed solutions – The PX3 Patriots Softball team provides an excellent way to both have fun and raise money for these solutions. An All-Star Weekend is ingenious for charity – you get to both give back to donors who have already helped and raise even more money for veteran services.

Joining in on the event is The Danny Dietz Memorial Fund, a foundation that offers scholarships to high schoolers planning on enlisting. The late Danny Dietz, a Colorado native and United States Navy Seal veteran, is being honored and represented by his mother Cindy Dietz-Marsh, who will coach the PX3 Patriots. Danny’s sacrifice and courage is portrayed in the 2013 movie Lone Survivor, and his family continues to work diligently in his memory with the memorial fund.

The All-Star Weekend will include exciting events that you can really get behind – think a tactical shooting range, a VIP concert headlined by celebrities who truly care, and a celebrity softball game. The game will be played by real veterans, including Jacob Schick (combat veteran and actor of American Sniper fame), Mark ‘Oz’ Geist, John ‘Tig’ Tiegen, and two recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor.

A wide variety of celebrities are also coming out to show their support, including but definitely not limited to:

  • Retired NFL Football Player Patrick Crayton
  • Actor/Director/Writer Todd Allen
  • Retired WWE Wrestler Ted Dibiase, Jr

If you’re in town, or even if you’re willing to travel, you should definitely come out and show your support.

Headed West is all about events like this. It’s an amazing opportunity to give back to veterans while also having a ton of fun – what’s better than an all around win? We’re hoping you’ll enjoy a great game, pig out while you watch the concert, tell a friend, and save yourself a spot in the ‘awesome person’ hall of fame.
