Colorado is not only home to a breathtaking landscape, but also a mixture of some truly amazing, unique, enthusiastic characters. From actors and actresses, comedians, writers, models, etc… the Centennial state really does spit out some eclectic people. We’re super proud because well, Colorado rocks. So anyways, here’s a fun list of the most interesting people to come out of Colorado.
Tim Allen
You probably know this famous comedian and actor from popular titles such as; Home Improvement (“It’s Tool Time!”), Galaxy Quest, Toy Story, Last Man Standing, and The Santa Clause. From his characteristic grunts to express emotion to his witty snarkiness, there’s a lot to love about this Denver native.
Kristen Schaal
This comedian and actress is probably best known from her voice as Louise Belcher on Bob’s Burgers. Born and raised in Longmont, CO, Kristin first got her start when she was featured in a New York magazines article “The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You’ve Never Heard Of”. She then went on to perform hilarious roles in works such as; South Park, Flight of the Conchords, The Daily Show, The Simpsons, Toy Story 3, and many more.
Duane Lee Chapman
Duane Lee ‘Dog’ Chapman was born and raised in Denver, CO and best known for his role in Dog the Bounty Hunter. If you’re looking for an interesting childhood, read up on Mr. Chapman. He has certainly had a rocky relationship with the law, but it definitely makes for great reality television, right?!
Jon Heder
Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder was born in Fort Collins, CO. Ever since his epic Napoleon debut in 2004, Mr. Heder has stuck his hands in all kinds of awesome film and television work. Seriously, there’s a list LOL. You should definitely read more up on this cool dude and don’t forget to vote for Pedro.
Trey Parker
It’s no wonder Fairplay, CO became the basis for the hit show South Park. It’s co-creator, Trey Parker, is from Confier, which is a short distance from the famed South Park area. And let’s be honest here… that show is freaking HILARIOUS. Definitely a shop fav.
David Fincher
Big fan of the following? Fight Club, Se7en, Gone Girl, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Panic Room? Yeah? Well, those magnificent pieces of film art were directed by none other than Denver born, David Fincher. Rock on dude. Please make more movies.
TJ Miller
TJ, what can we say? You crack us the hell up. This stand-up comedian and actor is best known for his role in Silicon Valley, but has also made appearances in other great works such as; Deadpool, Office Christmas Party, and The Emoji Movie.
