We received the following email from the Botanical Education Alliance and thought we should share it with all of you… If you have any interest in helping to support pushing back the DEA’s ban on kratom please follow the instructions below. We have had great momentum throughout Colorado, as well as the country over the past ten days.

This proposed ban was done as an “Emergency Ban” by the DEA. This means that the issues and facts were never presented to Congress. There has been tremendous traction on getting the facts and word out to Congress that the people want to keep kratom safe and legal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to pass it along to others who may want to keep homeopathic medicines available as options for adult Americans.

Thank you!
Jen

Call and Email Your Congressman

After deliberating with lobbying strategists, we have decided on a specific call of action that will be the most effective for convincing the DEA to DELAY their scheduling of Kratom.

We need EVERYBODY to contact their Congressmen/Congresswoman (House Representatives & Senators).

Follow our simple instructions here:

1) CALL your House Representative to request signing of the “Pocan/Salmon Dear Colleague Letter”.

2) Send an email (to House Representatives & Senators) via our easy template

Thank you all. We have slowly but surely made some progress, but this wouldn’t be happening without every single one of you that truly believe in this community and the medicinal benefits that Kratom has to offer. But let’s not get complacent!

Remember, the most crucial time is right now, with a week to go before the emergency scheduling happens.

So TAKE ACTION and SHARE this message with everyone you know!

Sincerely,
The BEA team
